Our high-quality, non-marring, Nylon-Head Metal Forming Pliers are perfect for forming and contouring brass, copper and precious metal wire and metal strip stock without marring the material. Made of stainless steel, these pliers feature box-joint construction, leaf spring return and medium density foam handles which provide superior comfort and ergonomics compared to pliers with PVC-coated handles. Also, the nylon heads can be customized to your own design, if desired, by carving and shaping the existing head shape to your own specifications. Each plier includes an additional head for this purpose, or, to use as a replacement if the original head becomes damaged. Pliers are 5-3/4″ long.
Medium U-Shape Nylon-Head Metal Forming Plier makes smooth curves up to 3/8″. Head is 11/16″ x 3/8″; inner “U” shape has a 13/32″ wide male head that is centered in the female side of the head.
